Reg Resp Care Practitioner
About the role
Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Graduate of a respiratory therapy program
- Obtain entry level certification and maintain a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
- Hold a current Ohio State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners
- Have a current certification in CPR
- For Parkview Randallia (excluding Pulmonary Rehab and PFT areas), obtain ACLS and NRP certifications within 6 months
- For Community Hospital locations, obtain ACLS and NRP certifications within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required
- Able to work every 5th weekend rotation
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
Requirements
