Reg Resp Care Practitioner

About the Role

Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.

Requirements

• Graduate of a respiratory therapy program
• Entry-level certification and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC
• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners
• Current CPR certification
• ACLS and NRP certifications (or obtain within 6 months for Parkview Randallia and Community Hospital locations)
• PALS and Stable certifications preferred but not required (Community Hospital locations)
• Able to be on call
• Able to lift 30 pounds
