Responsibilities
- Completing day to day orders called into the Respiratory Therapy Department and follow up on visits for apnea monitor and or ventilator patients, in compliance with all regulatory agencies.
- Education of patient and caregivers regarding set up, use, maintenance and safety of respiratory therapy equipment in the home.
- Performs diagnostic testing on behalf of the physician.
- Communication with the patient's physician regarding clarification of orders or the patient's response to care may be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certifications and Licensures Required: RRT (Respiratory Therapy License) OR CRT welcomed for review Active NBRC Credential for RRT BLS
- Education Required: Technical Respiratory Therapy Associate's Respiratory Therapy
- Specific Skills Required: Clinical skills appropriate to position Computer skills appropriate to position Collaborate and work with a team
