Resourse Analyst/Buyer

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, source, and analyze products using cost-benefit metrics and market research.
• Collaborate with vendors to secure samples and facilitate product evaluations.
• Facilitate value analysis committee projects and support system-wide product trials.
• Analyze vendor performance, pricing, and literature to inform future procurement.
• Liaise between Materials Management and clinical departments to implement new products and substitutions.
• Afford assistance in creating service contracts, bid proposals, and quotation analyses.
• Afford assistance to all management levels in determination and selection of vendors at bid openings.
• Has the authority to issue purchase orders to qualified individuals in user departments.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Superior research skills
• Has attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
• Clinical terminology experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
• Licenses for nursing or related field
• 3 years of clinical experience
