Resource Room Educational Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist students with accessing and making progress in the general education curriculum
• Aid students with executive functioning skills such as task initiation, task completion, movement breaks, and emotional regulation
• Help students stay engaged in classroom activities and provide academic support as needed
• Collaborate with educators and staff to implement individualized learning and care plans

Qualifications

• MDOE Educational Technician Certification - required
• MDOE Fingerprinting and Background check - required
• CNA certification - preferred
• Experience in education, preferably with children - preferred
• Ability to provide instructional support in an educational environment - preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills - preferred
