Resource Pool RN - ICU - Full Time - Nights

About the role

We are seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU services across multiple environments, including CVICU, SICU, and MICU.

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members using SBAR and handoff processes.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, respond to emergencies, and ensure patient safety.
• Document care accurately in electronic medical records and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs.
• Demonstrate leadership by mentoring peers, participating in quality improvement, and supporting professional development.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license with BLS certification; ACLS within 6 months for ICU roles.
• BSN within five years of hire if hired after January 2010; experience not required but preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and cultural competency skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across ICU specialties and support hospital-wide needs.
