Resource Ops & Planning Manager
About the role
The Resource Ops & Planning Program Manager is responsible for employee onboarding, resource scheduling, training coordination, staffing models and resource allocation while driving operational excellence across the organization. This is a 6-month Fixed Term role.
Responsibilities
- Enable agility to scale staffing levels in response to changing operational demands
- Develop and maintain workforce capacity plans aligned with business objectives
- Partner with department leaders to forecast talent needs/staffing gaps using data trends, productivity metrics, and staff burnout indicators
- Maintain strong documentation and audit-ready processes to mitigate risk
- Oversee day-to-day program execution, ensuring timely fulfillment of staffing needs
- Ensure team members and contingent staff are trained, prepared, and deployed effectively
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, collective bargaining agreements (CBAs), organizational policies, and healthcare regulations
- Communicate staffing plans, operational metrics, and resource recommendations to leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
- 5–7+ years of experience in operations, staffing, workforce planning, program management or a related field
- Prior experience managing onboarding programs or operational training initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into staffing models and resource forecasts
- Operational excellence mindset with strong execution and accountability
- High attention to detail in compliance-driven environments
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
Skills
- Background in staffing operations, capacity planning, or centralized operations
- Experience using workforce planning, scheduling and project management
- Supply chain knowledge preferred

Pay
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
Schedule
This is a Stanford Health Care job. A Day - 08 Hour position is available.
