About the role

Provide classroom assistance and instruction for children with special needs. Implement behavior plans, attend team meetings to problem-solve, collect data on interventions, and create and implement support for students with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of experience working in a school or with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job
• Experience supervising children preferred
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information
• Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required

Pay

$18.11/hour (entry level, Band - Support A12)

Schedule

26/27 school year; 10 hours per week; 194 days per school year
