About the role
The Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is seeking a Resort Park Manager I to fill a key leadership role. The position oversees all facilities and amenities, including a 36-room hotel, meeting venues, restaurants, marina, fishing and boating, a campground, tennis courts, pools, and a theatre.
Responsibilities
- Aids in managing the resort’s operations and creating a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff.
- Maintains guest experiences and staff interactions, reinforcing a hospitable culture.
- Monitors and reports on customer service trends and collaborates with supervisors to achieve service goals.
- Works with various departments to enhance customer experience and explore new growth opportunities.
- Develops and manages the budget with input from multiple stakeholders, focusing on amenities and revenue growth.
- Collaborates with group sales, front desk, and dining operations to increase revenue while adhering to budgetary goals.
- Manages campground and boat dock operations to boost occupancy and revenues.
- Acts as a lead team member, promoting strong fiscal management across all departments.
- Communicates effectively with all staff and supervisors, participating in departmental meetings and community events.
Requirements
- Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
- Five years of business administration, public administration, or management experience.
- Additional education in business administration, public administration, or a related field can substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience as a general manager or food and beverage director of a full-service hotel or resort, or similar experience in hotel management areas, can substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
- Must obtain S.T.A.R. certification from the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within six months of employment.
- Must be at least 20 years old at the time of employment.

Pay
$4,792.46 - $7,188.68 monthly.
