Resort Mechanical Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist the Director and Assistant Director of Engineering Services in maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and assigning projects.
- Procure supplies and issue purchase orders for the department.
- Review and assign work orders based on priority.
- Maintain up-to-date inventories of heat, light & power and repair and maintenance supplies.
- Respond to guest requests and coordinate activities with the Engineering staff.
- Oversee environmental programs and adhere to Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation protocols.
- Understand and comply with Omni's hotel rules and regulations, systems and services procedures, and OSHA rules and regulations.
- Have a thorough understanding of Omni's fire alarm procedures and emergency evacuation.
- Work with the Engineering staff on a shift basis and coordinate their activities.
- Must be familiar with Omni's Systems and Services procedures.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have a NH Gasfitters License.
- Must have one year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience, with commercial refrigeration experience being a plus.
- Must have a valid New Hampshire Driver's License and pass a drug screening.
- Must have previous experience with responding to emergency situations.
- Must be attentive to detail, adaptable to unexpected situations, and capable of moving, bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to utilize step stools and ladders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of hotel and/or commercial building maintenance experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- NH Gasfitters License.
- One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience, with commercial refrigeration experience being a plus.
- Valid New Hampshire Driver's License and drug screening required.
- Previous experience with response to emergency situations required.
- Able to move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Able to utilize step stools and ladders.
