About the Role

Do you bring the party wherever you go? As the Resort Activities Host, you’re the one getting everyone involved with dancing, painting, hula-hooping, and more. You have the energy to keep up with guests of all ages, and creating unforgettable memories comes naturally to you. Responsibilities

• Bring the fun every day by coordinating recreational programs for all ages based on guest interests, resort needs, and the season.
• Plan and lead classes, games, competitions, mixers, holiday events, and special themed activities that keep guests and owners smiling.
• Be the go-to vibe creator by answering questions, sharing resort info, and helping solve guest concerns with a friendly, upbeat attitude.
• Keep the party stocked by managing recreation inventory and ordering supplies while staying on budget.
• Jump in where needed and support other departments to make sure every guest’s resort experience feels seamless and memorable.

Requirements

• 6 months previous experience in activities/recreation, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Utilize creativity and polished customer service skills to enhance every guest interaction and activity experience.
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
• Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
• Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
