Resort Driver

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage, drop off and pick up at airport for shuttle service
• Communicate to guests about pick up or drop off options
• Send introduction to guests via email or text
• Meet and greet guests upon arrival and departure
• Provide lobby doors coverage
• Greet arriving guests and retrieve their luggage
• Pick up and drop off passengers at the airport
• Text or email guest on day of arrival and re-confirm the scheduled transportation
• Safely transport passengers along predefined assigned routes in a courteous, timely, and reliable manner while providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, and instructions from dispatch
• Complete required written reports and documentation related to the performance of duties and the vehicle being operated
• Complete daily logs of operational issues for record keeping and trend analysis purposes

Requirements

• Must be licensed to drive a motor vehicle
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Previous customer service experience required
• Hospitality experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact with all guests, internal and external, effectively with tact and diplomacy
• Strong follow-through skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Basic proficiency in working with computers
• Available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull guest luggage weighing up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, and loading/unloading of luggage
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to enter and exit resort vehicles repeatedly throughout shift
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat
• Ability to safely operate resort vehicles for extended periods
