Resort Shuttle Driver | Full-Time

About the role

The Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate is a four-diamond resort offering golf, meetings, and leisure activities. This role involves transporting hotel guests to designated destinations.

Responsibilities

• Drive shuttle vehicle to and from designated destinations in a timely manner
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations
• Greet guests and provide onboarding assistance
• Ensure cleanliness of shuttle vehicle, including interior and exterior
• Inspect vehicle daily and report any damage or safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of vehicle maintenance
• Report any safety concerns immediately to management
• Maintain accurate log of services rendered
• Create memorable experience during transportation service
• Maintain 4-Star/4-Diamond standards of guest service
• Accept other special duties as requested by management
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy

Essential Functions

• Understand all emergency procedures
• Understand all amenities and services offered at the Resort and local area
• Understand all Moments of Service scenarios

When Not Providing Shuttle Services

• Greet guests and welcome to hotel
• Supervise and maintain traffic flow through front drive
• Assist in keeping front entrance clean and tidy
• Unload the baggage from the car or taxi and bring inside to the Bell Stand
• Load car/taxi for departing guests, thanking them for choosing the hotel

Qualifications

• Highly motivated self-starter focused on quality, organization, guest service, and teamwork
• Outgoing, friendly personality
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Attain a high propensity for customer service
• Relevant hospitality and/or customer service/administrative experience
• The ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure work environment while executing delegated tasks and assignments
• Willing to undergo DOT background check and drug test
