About the role

Resnick & Louis, P.C. is a nationally recognized defense firm seeking experienced partner‑level lawyers to expand its roster. The firm serves over 100 domestic and foreign insurance companies, managing general agents, and numerous regional and national self‑insured corporations. Attorneys receive support from a dedicated marketing and business‑development department, have direct access to upper management, and work within a responsive, high‑achieving team. While trial‑level lawyers are available for assistance, partners are encouraged to lead their own cases when they demonstrate the requisite skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead counsel, managing day‑to‑day aspects of assigned cases.
• Communicate directly with clients and develop case strategies.
• Collaborate with trial‑level attorneys for support while maintaining independence to try cases as desired.
• Leverage the firm’s marketing and business‑development resources to grow practice and client relationships.
• Participate in a high‑performing team environment, accessing upper management as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of insurance defense experience.
• At least 5 years of that experience practicing in Texas.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:
  • Bodily injury
  • Construction defect
  • Professional liability
  • Insurance coverage
  • Bad faith
  • Environmental
  • General liability
  • Transportation
  • Employment

Compensation

Salaries and total compensation packages will be discussed during interviews.
