About the role
Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and has since expanded to operate across multiple states including the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Thompson’s continuum of care includes prevention, mental health services, and foster care, all of which are trauma-informed and evidence-based.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments
- Attend Child & Family Team meetings
- Develop and monitor person-centered plans for youth in the residential facility
Requirements
- Master's degree in human services related field required
- Associate or provisional license required
- A minimum of 1 years of relevant professional experience
- Availability to be flexible and work rotating weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills
- Provisional or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina (depending on specific program)
- Valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
