Description
Thompson was founded in 1886 as an orphanage and operates across the Carolinas, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Its continuum of care includes prevention, mental health services, and foster care, all trauma-informed and evidence-based.
What will you do as a Residential Therapist?
- Work Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm
- Schedule may vary based on clinical needs
- Provide individual and group therapy
- Complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments
- Attend Child & Family Team meetings
- Develop and monitor person-centered plans for youth in the residential facility
What does this position offer?
- Starting Pay Range: $55-$60k annually

Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Master's degree in human services related field required; Associate or provisional license required; 1 years of relevant professional experience; availability to be flexible and work rotating weekends; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills; Provisional or fully licensed to practice therapy in North Carolina (depending on specific program); valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead
