About the role
Residential Therapists provide individual or group therapy to Adolescent clients. Therapists collaborate in a multi-disciplinary setting with other Emily Program clinicians to provide comprehensive treatment to the client and their family.
Schedule
- Full Time (40 hr/wk)
- Monday through Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM (hours generally in that range)
- Open to working up to two evenings per week (~6:30–7:00 PM)
- Rotating holidays
- Very occasional weekend coverage
Pay
- Pre-Independently Licensed Therapists: starting salary range between $50,000–$65,000
- Independently Licensed Therapists: starting salary range between $65,000–$85,000
Final compensation offered will be within the pay range based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and coordinates services and monitors and evaluates individualized treatment plans
- Conducts assigned group counseling sessions and therapeutic meal support
- Collaborates with Emily Program staff, community professionals, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care
- Maintains timely clinical documentation in compliance with The Emily Program policies and regulatory standards and may participate in quality assessment/peer review of documentation
- Maintains and enhances knowledge of current clinical practice, strategies, and developments through participation in professional organizations; attending related seminars, workshops, and conferences; and reviewing literature
Requirements
Therapist I
- Current Provisional or Associate licensure required in the state of employment
- Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required
- Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required
- DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred
- Eating disorders treatment experience preferred
- Computer proficiency required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Therapist II
- Current independent licensure in the state of employment required
- Master’s degree in a behavioral sciences field required
- Individual, family, or group psychotherapy experience required
- DBT, CBT, FBT experience preferred
- Eating disorders treatment experience preferred
- Computer proficiency required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
