Residential Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relationships with members of the Coordination Team, staff, guardians/family members, funding agencies, other service providers, and the community at large.
• Collaborate with HR in hiring, retention, discipline, and termination processes.
• Work with the Coordination team to assess new referrals and determine transition and consumer needs.
• Develop/revise consumer service plans, and monitor expenses to ensure consumer needs are met.
• Participate in consumer planning meetings as needed.
• Carry out on-call duties as part of assigned programs’/homes’ chain of command.

Requirements

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• Two years experience working with persons with disabilities and other special needs preferred.
• Experience in training/teaching preferred.
• Have knowledge of the human service system.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have two years’ experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Must possess a valid WI driver’s license and meet agency driving standards.
• Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks, and/or that of previous states of residence.
