Residential Support Professional

The Adult Residential Support Professional role involves providing supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents in a residential treatment facility focused on substance use recovery. Responsibilities include observing and documenting resident behaviors, assisting with daily activities such as meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation, supporting residents in achieving treatment goals, and responding to emergencies. Additional duties encompass medication administration, collecting urine samples, facilitating educational and life skills groups, and maintaining confidentiality. Qualifications required are a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to uphold professional boundaries. Preferred candidates have experience in behavioral health or related fields, relevant coursework, DHS 83 training, and a valid driver’s license. Work involves frequent physical activity within a residential setting, including outdoor tasks.
