Responsibilities
- Supporting residents
- Documenting behaviors
- Assisting with housekeeping
- Medication administration
- Crisis response
- Helping residents achieve treatment goals
- Leading educational activities
- Transporting residents
- Collecting specimens
- Providing basic first aid
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Coursework in social services preferred
- Experience in similar settings is advantageous
- Valid driver’s license preferred; must pass motor vehicle check
- DHS 83 training (fire safety, first aid, medication administration) is preferred or required after hire
- Effective communication
- Physical ability for community-based work
