About the role
Join a compassionate, part-time role supporting residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment program for adult women, including those with infants up to 3 months old.
Responsibilities
- Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
- Prepare meals, light housekeeping, and laundry duties
- Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
- Transport residents to appointments and community resources
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
- Attend staff meetings and complete training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
Additional Requirements
- Preference for DHS 83 training (or completion after hire)
- Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%)
