About the role
The Adult Residential Support Professional provides care and support to residents in addiction and restorative justice programs within a community-based residential setting. The role demands physical activity, outdoor exposure, and effective communication, with responsibilities centered on fostering a safe, supportive environment for clients working toward recovery and life skills development.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interact with residents as a positive role model
- Document behaviors and maintain records
- Assist with housekeeping, medication administration, and meal preparation
- Transport residents and lead educational activities
- Respond to emergencies and support treatment goals
- Perform basic first aid and other assigned tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred experience in similar services
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to pass background checks
- Basic computer skills required
