About the role
Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling to residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific recovery program for adult women, including those with infants.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medication monitoring
- Complete documentation
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
- Support residents with daily living and treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies and transport residents
- Conduct urine and breathalyzer tests
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassion, patience, and respect
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required
Additional information
- DHS 83 training preferred or completed post-hire
- Local travel may be necessary
