About the role
Provide care and support in addiction treatment and restorative justice programs within a community-based residential environment.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor residents
- Document behaviors and share updates confidentially
- Assist with housekeeping and meal preparation
- Administer medications and conduct required tests
- Respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid
- Help residents achieve treatment goals and develop life skills
- Attend training and lead group activities
- Transport residents as needed
- Follow directions and maintain professional boundaries
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in care or support roles preferred
- Strong reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and remain flexible
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license preferred; pass motor vehicle check if driving
- Basic computer skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform duties in an outdoor and community-based setting with occasional travel
