Residential Supervisor
About the role
In this position, you will convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our youth. Cohannet Academy is an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents specializing in trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities
- Bring an energetic and positive approach to working with our youth.
- Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
- Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedures.
- Support staff and programming through knowledge of Cohannet's Residential Department policies and procedures.
- Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to maintain a safe therapeutic atmosphere for students.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
- Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license due to transporting students.
- Available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.
Qualifications
Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background and driving record checks.
Skills
Knowledge of trauma-informed care, ability to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations, strong supervisory and training skills, and familiarity with relevant policies and procedures.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $22.50 to $33.00 per hour. The actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, and qualifications.
Schedule
Shifts may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
