Residential Supervisor
About the role
Do you enjoy working with kids, collaborating with co-workers, working independently and part of a team? Our residential facility is a positive, energetic, supportive workplace! Come to Pathway Family Services! We are looking for a full-time Residential Supervisor who is at least 21 years of age and has a high school diploma or equivalent with at least two years of experience in a Residential Program. Also requires attendance and successful completion of Safe Crisis Management training, that is provided by the Agency. In addition, it is required to attend the Residential Child and Youth Care Professional Certification Training. Employees must complete the online certification process to become Nationally Certified within the first year of employment. Lastly, you must possess a valid driver's license and meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency vehicles and/or transporting clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meeting our mission of strengthening families by supporting youth with challenging behaviors in a therapeutic environment.
- Through day-to-day interactions, promote health, safety, and well-being of individuals served, as well as the organization by leading therapeutic groups, teaching daily routines, and promoting positive and proactive behavior management strategies.
- Be an advocate for the youth as they communicate their wants, needs, and goals as they work to achieve their highest quality of life.
- Provide direct supervision of direct service program staff assigned to the facility and provide administrative expertise as required.
