Easterseals NJ has been serving people with disabilities since 1948, offering daily living support and community-based programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of daily operations across multiple residential sites
- Management of the residential budget, staff schedules, and overtime
- Maintenance of fiscal, medical, and personal documentation for accuracy
- Participation in Inter-Disciplinary Team (IDT) meetings and Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) development
- Preparation and submission of monthly operational reports
- Ensuring accurate documentation to meet consumers' needs (employment, recreational, emotional)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in mental health, psychology, sociology, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- At least 1 year experience in a mental health group home setting
- At least 1 year of management experience
- Proven leadership, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including working with individuals with mental illness
- Intermediate computer skills including the ability to complete documentation in an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
