Residential Specialist

About the role

The Residential Specialist at The Mental Health Center provides 24/7 support in a community-based adult residence, focusing on daily living skills, symptom management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Support patients in developing skills for living independently
• Aid patients in achieving wellness and recovery goals
• Work with patients in residential and community settings
• Provide safe medication support, education, and self-administration
• Engage in direct 1:1 and group activities
• Maintain room/apartment cleanliness and ensure safety
• Document effectively and communicate with the treatment team
• Manage time efficiently and perform basic office tasks
• Climb stairs and maintain physical activity throughout the shift

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with bodily injury liability coverage
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or social work
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of mental health/therapeutic interventions
• Basic office skills including answering phones, taking messages, and using computers
• Time management and organizational skills
• Self-motivation and independence

Qualifications

Pay

$24.94-$30.42 per hour
