Residential Service Technician - St. Charles, IL

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician for our St Charles, IL, property. The Service Technician is responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and grounds with a focus on efficiency, safety and asset protection. This role supports the Service Manager by managing expenses, performing preventative maintenance, conserving energy, and providing outstanding service to our residents.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of maintenance experience in a fast-paced residential community is required.
• Experience in painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems is required.
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure cleanliness and address safety concerns.
• Complete unit turns according to the property checklist within established deadlines.
• A proactive approach, exceptional organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the safe and proper use of common tools, cleaning products and supplies.
• Be available to respond to after-hours emergency calls 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
• Availability to work on Saturdays.
