Residential Service Plumber

Responsibilities

• Respond to in-home service calls
• Diagnose plumbing issues
• Perform repairs
• Provide clear recommendations to customers
• Handle plumbing service, drain cleaning, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting
• Maintain strong communication with customers, dispatch, and the office team
• Maintain an organized service vehicle
• Document work accurately
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to continually improve service quality
• Assist in mentoring apprentices and helping newer team members develop their technical skills and customer service approach

Qualifications

• At least three years of plumbing experience
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and local plumbing codes
• Comfortable performing tasks such as soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and general plumbing system diagnostics and repairs
• Clean driving record
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• The ability to build trust with customers

Pay

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00+ per hour, base pay depending on experience
Total Compensation Potential: Approximately $90,000 annually with performance incentives and commissions
