Residential Service Electrician

About the role

The Residential Service Electrician is responsible for providing electrical services to residential customers. This includes troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining electrical systems in homes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in residential properties
• Install new electrical systems as needed
• Maintain and service existing electrical systems
• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve issues and provide recommendations

Requirements

• Valid state electrician’s license
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in residential electrical work
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards

Skills

• Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
