About the role
Surefox North America Inc is a veteran-owned company dedicated to fostering a diverse and skilled workforce. We are currently seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent to join our team in the Bay Area or outside California.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Surefox and clients, providing physical security of assigned residences.
- Respond to emergency events, medical and non-medical issues, and conduct incident detection, observation, and physical security.
- Oversee staffing deficiencies and handle client requests promptly.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, facilitating collaboration and influencing informally across different departments.
- Track and report on program performance assurance and compliance requirements.
- Manage and monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
- Screen all incoming mail and perform security patrols on foot and by vehicle.
- Observe departing personnel and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Provide assistance to employees and maintain a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients.
- Attend project meetings to assess the security implications of proposed changes.
- Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
- Operate motor vehicles safely and legally.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest.
- Operate in a low-profile, low-footprint capacity.
- Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines.
- Comply with Surefox Policy and Procedures.
Requirements
- Rotational Schedule - 4 days on / 4 days off (flexible)
- Must be eligible for employment within the United States
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening
- Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
- Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for one
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent
- Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Possess a valid and current driver license
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport
- Ability to work nights and weekends as required
- Have an operational understanding of today’s technology across all platforms
- Strong writing and interpersonal skills
