Residential Sales Manager
About the role
The Residential Sales Manager leads the Southern Michigan and Toledo markets, overseeing a team of in-home sales consultants who aim to grow market share by building trust and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Coach, motivate, and develop team members' consultative selling techniques using the Pella Replacement Sales Process
- Minimize errors and protect contribution margin goals
- Manage rebates to ensure profitability
- Increase customer satisfaction to 100%
- Devise and implement strategies to build and maintain a high-performing sales team
- Spend over 50% of each workweek in the field, observing and coaching sales consultants
Requirements
- Proven track record of leadership and management in a sales environment
- Experience in residential sales and customer service
- Ability to coach and mentor team members effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of Pella products and sales process
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of sales management experience
- Experience in the window and door industry is a plus
