Residential Route Manager - Waste Industry Residential Route Manager - Waste Industry Job Overview A well-established waste services company is seeking a dependable and experienced Residential Route Manager to oversee day-to-day residential collection operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely service delivery while supporting and leading route drivers in the field. Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily residential waste collection routes and driver teams.Monitor safety, efficiency, and service quality across all assigned routes.Provide training, coaching, and support to drivers on procedures and expectations.Perform ride-alongs, route audits, and vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.Address and resolve service-related issues and customer concerns.Collaborate with dispatch, maintenance, and support teams to ensure seamless operations.Maintain records, logs, and reports in accordance with company policies and DOT regulations. Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in waste hauling, transportation, or similar field.CDL (Class B or A) preferred or willingness to obtain.Strong communication and leadership skills.Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety requirements.Able to work in various weather conditions and early hours.Experience with route management systems is a plus.
