Job Summary
Aspire Health and Community Services seeks a Residential Rehabilitation Educator/Counselor to assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues. The ideal candidate will help clients set and achieve goals, engage in activities, and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Aid clients in setting and achieving goals
- Support clients with activities of daily living
- Engage clients in meaningful activities
- Facilitate socialization and transportation
- Administer medication as part of treatment plans
- Implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms
- Help clients develop independence and enhance quality of life
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Coursework in psychology, human services, social work, or health sciences (preferred)
- Previous experience in health and human services field or related education/training
- Patient and understanding demeanor
- Dependable and flexible
- Computer proficiency and ability to use an electronic health record system
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record (required)
- CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications (required)
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
- Passion for helping individuals with disabilities

Pay
$20 - $20 USD annually
Schedule
Part time, 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with specific shifts on Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
