Job Summary

Aspire Health and Community Services seeks a Residential Rehabilitation Educator/Counselor to assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues. The ideal candidate will help clients set and achieve goals, engage in activities, and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Aid clients in setting and achieving goals
  • Support clients with activities of daily living
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities
  • Facilitate socialization and transportation
  • Administer medication as part of treatment plans
  • Implement treatment plans to help clients reach goals and manage symptoms
  • Help clients develop independence and enhance quality of life

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Coursework in psychology, human services, social work, or health sciences (preferred)
  • Previous experience in health and human services field or related education/training
  • Patient and understanding demeanor
  • Dependable and flexible
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use an electronic health record system
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record (required)
  • CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications (required)

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health principles and practices
  • Passion for helping individuals with disabilities

Pay

$20 - $20 USD annually

Schedule

Part time, 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with specific shifts on Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
