About the role
The Residential Real Estate Specialist (RRES) is the primary source of expertise for UHNW clients to deliver solutions for their complex and unique needs in financing residential real estate. Working in concert with the client team to ensure a holistic approach, the RRES facilitates structure and pricing of the product(s) that best fits the clients' overall financial objectives. In addition, he/she works with the client and client team to obtain all financial documentation necessary. The RRES works closely with his/her partners within the product to ensure a smooth process, while communicating effectively and consistently with the client and client team throughout the process.
The RRES serves as the product champion, communicating product, policy and program enhancements to client managers/advisors. He/she must demonstrate strong credit/underwriting skills with a deep level of mortgage product knowledge, and an ability to work within GWIM custom mortgage guidelines. The RRES has a minimum of 10 years experience in sales/underwriting within the residential real estate wealth management business. He/she is the market expert in his/her geographic market, understanding market values and trends, as well as how to sell against the competition.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product expert for UHNW clients seeking residential real estate financing solutions.
- Facilitate the structure and pricing of mortgage products aligned with clients' overall financial objectives.
- Work with the client and client team to gather all required financial documentation.
- Partner with product colleagues to ensure a smooth end-to-end process for the client.
- Communicate effectively and consistently with the client and client team throughout the process.
- Act as product champion, communicating product, policy, and program enhancements to client managers/advisors.
- Apply strong credit and underwriting skills using a deep level of mortgage product knowledge within GWIM custom mortgage guidelines.
- Serve as the market expert in the assigned geographic market, including market values, trends, and competitive positioning.
Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales/underwriting within the residential real estate wealth management business.
- 10+ years' experience with the High Net Worth / Ultra High Net Worth segment.
- Minimum education: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent.
- Must meet SAFE Act registration requirements, including registration with the federal registry system and successful background check.
