Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to post-completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, equity release, buy-to-let transactions, Right to Buy matters, lease extensions, new build developments, shared ownership, and affordable housing auctions.
- Handle complex and technical conveyancing matters, such as easements and rights of way, restrictive covenants, adverse possession claims, title defects and investigations, Land Registry and boundary issues.
- Create, maintain, and develop relationships with estate agents, financial advisers, developers, and other professional introducers.
- Act as a trusted adviser to clients, delivering excellent service and practical commercial advice.
- Support, mentor, and share knowledge with junior members of the team.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth, profile, and success of the Residential Property Department.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
- Significant post-qualification experience managing a broad residential property caseload independently.
- Proven ability to handle complex conveyancing matters and provide technical guidance.
- Strong networking and business development skills, with an ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Experience of mentoring or supporting colleagues would be advantageous.

Schedule
