About the Role

Provide clinical and/or administrative supervision to a dynamic team of professional and paraprofessional residential staff delivering housing and services to individuals with psychiatric disabilities. Responsible for the overall functioning of the programs and ensuring compliance with agency policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work with current license
  • Two years of supervisory experience in a mental health-related field
  • Knowledge of the needs of the Co-Occurring Disorder (D/O) population
  • Experience in delivery of residential services and familiarity with Office of Mental Health regulations strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and supervise all aspects of assigned residential programs, ensuring appropriate and necessary services are delivered and all program guidelines, protocols, policies, procedures, and regulations are followed
  • Participate in the recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing evaluation of residential staff under the supervision of the Assistant Director/Director
  • Provide oversight of staffing patterns at all assigned programs
  • Provide ongoing structured weekly supervision to Program Supervisors and ensure all staff receive adequate training and supervision
  • Review and approve all time-off requests, timesheets, and travel expenses for supervisors in a timely manner; meet bi-weekly with Program Supervisors to review staff schedules
  • Ensure residents in licensed housing programs receive restorative services appropriate to their needs; review billing reports for accuracy
  • Ensure residents in supported housing receive regular visits and relevant services from staff
  • Oversee medication monitoring procedures in all applicable programs; review medication logs/eMAR at least monthly
  • Monitor occupancy rates and ensure maximum occupancy in cooperation with the Assistant Director of Admissions, Assistant Director, and Director
  • Conduct intakes for potential residents in cooperation with the Assistant Director of Admissions
  • Ensure appropriate discharge planning activities occur for all residents
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and enforcement of all program policies and procedures in conjunction with the Director
  • Conduct routine (at least bi-monthly) monitoring of all client records to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policy manuals
  • Assist Program Supervisors in maintaining consistent and professional collateral contacts to ensure coordinated and adequate services for all program participants, including participation in case conferences when necessary
  • Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of all sites; act as liaison with Property Specialist and/or landlords in unlicensed programs to maintain safety standards
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to staff during business hours
  • Serve as On-Call supervisor one week (Wednesday–Wednesday) after business hours and on weekends on a rotating basis (approximately every 3–5 weeks) to handle crises, incidents, or staff assistance needs
  • Ensure all incidents, accidents, and grievances are reported in a timely manner in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Ensure Quality Assurance standards are met or exceeded in cooperation with the QI Specialist and Director
  • Oversee monthly Medicaid billing in licensed programs and RTS service delivery in unlicensed programs
  • Oversee program finances, including resident benefits, petty cash accounts, personal needs allowance, and other financial issues
  • Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals
  • Encourage quality improvement processes and provide consistent resources for professional development
  • Cultivate a culture of inclusion that respects individual strengths, views, and experiences to drive innovation and better business results
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Other duties as assigned
