Residential Painting Project Consultant / Estimator

About the role

At Fresh Coat, we take pride in Painting Done Right! In this position, you will survey projects, estimate labor and materials costs using our Fresh Coat Branded estimating software, and communicate proposal cost and project timelines in-person to customers.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill client appointments in a timely manner.
• Assess projects by identifying project requirements regarding time, labor, and material costs.
• Act as the final say in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates.
• Present estimates to clients in-person in a professional manner.
• Recommend material options.
• Communicate job details to the Project Manager and Crew Team Leader.
• Maintain thorough records of all project documentation, including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation using our Fresh Coat Branded software.
• Seek out new opportunities through networking events, ground-floor marketing tactics, and cold calling on potential clients.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in painting home services.
• Sales and customer relations experience.
• Previous on-the-job training/experience.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Time management planning skills.
