Painting Estimator / Marketing Specialist

About the role

At Fresh Coat, we take pride in Painting Done Right! In this position, you will survey projects, estimate labor and materials costs using our Fresh Coat Branded estimating software, and communicate proposal costs and project timelines in-person to customers. Keen attention to detail and accurate project estimation skills are essential to meet our clients' expectations.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill client appointments in a timely manner.
• Assess projects by identifying requirements related to time, labor, and material costs.
• Act as the final authority in the calculation, analysis, and adjustment of estimates.
• Present estimates to clients in-person in a professional manner.
• Recommend material options.
• Communicate job details to the Project Manager and Crew Team Leader.
• Maintain thorough records of all project documentation, including estimates, sales receipts, and project completion documentation using our Fresh Coat Branded software.
• Seek out new opportunities through networking events, ground-floor marketing tactics, and cold calling on potential clients.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in painting or home services.
• Sales and customer relations experience.
• Previous on-the-job training or experience.
• Ability to operate independently.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Time management and planning skills.
