Leasing Process: Observe and assist with the leasing sales process, conduct property tours, assist with applications, and help overcome objections. Build relationships with prospects and help schedule appointments. Assist with lease signings, unit inspections, and follow-ups.
Resident Relations: Help guide new residents through the move-in process, ensure resident information is accurate and up to date, and assist with follow-ups on delinquent accounts.
Reports & Files: Assist with creating monthly reports on renewals, rents, leasing, and resident retention. Help with follow-ups on delinquent accounts. Maintain resident information systems and files.
Property Financials: Support the Manager in collecting payments and processing purchase orders. Learn the basics of financial record-keeping, including verifying and allocating business transactions.
Compliance: Adhere to federal and state Fair Housing laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Current college freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and motivation to learn
