Residential Manager Mentor

About the role

The Residential Manager Mentor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. This role involves managing staff, implementing policies, and providing mentorship to new staff members.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new staff members in all aspects of the residential facility’s operations.
• Oversee daily operations including meal preparation, housekeeping, and resident care.
• Implement and enforce facility policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular assessments of resident needs and provide appropriate support.
• Manage staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
• Handle emergencies and crises within the facility.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology).
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar management role.
• Proven ability to manage staff and implement policies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents and staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
