The B. F. Saul Company has been engaged in the acquisition, renovation, construction, and management of residential property in the Washington Metropolitan area since 1931. The Residential division manages four luxury properties: The Waycroft (Arlington, VA), Park Van Ness (Washington, DC), The Kennedy-Warren (Washington, DC), Lyon Place (Arlington, VA), The Milton at Twinbrook Quarter (Rockville, MD), and Hampden House (Bethesda, MD). The division prioritizes high-level customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician assists the Lead Engineer in maintaining the property at The Milton at Twinbrook Quarter. Responsibilities include processing resident service requests, performing preventative maintenance and unit inspections, troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting, as well as handling apartment turnovers and renovations. Attendance is essential, and weekend or overnight hours may be required due to the 24/7 nature of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Process all resident service requests in a timely manner.
  • Perform preventative maintenance duties and unit inspections.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and painting issues.
  • Assist in apartment turnovers and renovations.

Requirements

  • Three to five (3-5) years of engineering experience.
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and safely move appliances.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet.
  • Experience in multifamily or hospitality environments preferred but not required.
