Residential Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Residential Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on residential properties to ensure they are in good working order.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roofing repairs.
• Respond to customer requests for service within established response times.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• At least 2 years of related experience in home repair or maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Proficient in basic home repair techniques.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and roofing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Pay

Salary range: $30,000 - $40,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
