Residential Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform daily troubleshooting and repairs in plumbing (leaks, fixtures, clogs), basic electrical (switches, outlets, lights), and carpentry (drywall repair, doors, locks, cabinet hardware).
• Efficiently prepare vacant units for new residents, including patching, painting, and light turnover repairs.
• Receive, update, and close out daily maintenance requests right from your smartphone or tablet.
• Participate in a predictable, shared emergency on-call schedule for after-hours urgent issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years in apartment maintenance, facilities management, or residential construction preferred.
• Able to build rapport and communicate effectively with tenants and other staff.
• Ability to use a smartphone/tablet for work order management and company communication.
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and active auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
