Residential Instructor-Per Diem

About the role

As a Residential Instructor, you’ll work with youth with neurological and/or psychological disabilities. Our clients range from those who have experienced trauma and abuse to those with non-verbal and behavioral disorders. You will conduct groups and recreational activities, help clients with their behavior plans, and assist with daily living activities, relationship skills, coping mechanisms, and subject teaching. This is an interactive, team-oriented position where you will become a trusted role model directly impacting the lives of our clients.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Meet one of the following qualifications:
  • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services
  • Two years of residential experience
  • A combination of Human Service college credits and experience working with children totaling 2 years
  • Parent of a child 7 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay

$23.00–$28.00 hourly, based on qualifications, related experience, and education.
