Responsibilities

• Full time position requiring maturity, initiative, and a positive, proactive, student-oriented style.
• Provide direct and ongoing supervision, support, and instruction to students, while coordinating the day-to-day operations of the dormitory.
• Provide an engaged, structured and supportive dormitory environment designed to promote growth and independence through assessment, direct instruction, positive reinforcement and the setting of clear and consistent expectations.
• Maintain open communication with students, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
• Meet the individual and collective needs of assigned students relative to their unique learning styles.

Requirements

• Suitable Background check result (CORI, SORI, DCF) and fingerprinting required.
• CPR/AED/Standard First Aid /EpiPen certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s license.

• Comply with School, OSHA and Board of Health safety guidelines and training.

Pay

• Residential Instructor (day shift/no overnights): $32,000 - $37,500.
• Residential Instructor (with overnights): $62,500 - $74,500.

Schedule

• Full Time – Sunday-Wednesday (Shifts include evenings and weekends).
• Full Time – Wednesday-Saturday (Shifts include evenings and weekends).
• Residential Instructor (day shift/no overnights).
• Residential Instructor (with overnights).
