About the role
Easterseals NH is seeking 2nd Shift Residential Instructors to join our team. This position works with youth with neurological and/or psychological disabilities, ranging from those who have experienced trauma and abuse to those with non-verbal and behavioral disorders.
Responsibilities
- Work with clients in groups and conduct recreational activities
- Help implement and monitor behavior plans for clients
- Support clients in achieving greater independence and well-being
- Engage clients in community activities and family connections
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One of the following qualifications:
- An Associates or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 credits in Human Services
- Two years of experience working with children
- A combination of Human Service college credits and experience working with children totaling 2 years
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Parent of a child 7 years of age or older (preferred)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with group facilitation and behavior management

Pay and Schedule
- Hourly rate: $23.00 - $28.00, based on qualifications, experience, and education
- Shift: 2nd shift; Sunday 8am-10:30pm, Monday 1:30-10:30pm, Tuesday 1:30-10:30pm, Wednesday 12pm-10:30pm
Benefits
- Sign-On Bonus of $1,500 paid out over the first 6 months
