Residential HVAC Service Technician

Put Your HVAC Skills to Work Without Giving Up Your Life. Complete Comfort is looking for an experienced HVAC Service & Repair Technician to join our Chilhowie, VA team. You'll handle residential HVAC service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs throughout Chilhowie and surrounding Southwest Virginia communities—with a take-home company vehicle and a schedule that doesn't require on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductless equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and system performance issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine service
• Identify equipment problems and explain repair options to homeowners
• Make recommendations based on the actual condition of the system
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship
• Document service findings, repairs, and equipment information accurately
• Follow safety procedures, company standards, and HVAC best practices
• Assist newer technicians with troubleshooting and technical questions when needed

Requirements

• 2+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• EPA certification; Universal preferred
• Experience with Trane, Mitsubishi, or comparable HVAC equipment is a plus
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Dependable, professional, and customer-focused
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to quality work

Pay

$27–$36/hour, based on experience

Schedule
