About the role
The Residential House Manager - IDD Certified Residence is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
- Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to IDD care.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure resident health needs are met.
- Manage staff and volunteers to provide quality care and support services.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff and residents.
- Collaborate with families and community partners to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Requirements
- IDD Certification (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- Experience in IDD care or related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of disability rights and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
