Residential House Manager, I/DD Certified Residence

About the role

The Residential House Manager - IDD Certified Residence is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
• Implement and enforce policies and procedures related to IDD care.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure resident health needs are met.
• Manage staff and volunteers to provide quality care and support services.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff and residents.
• Collaborate with families and community partners to enhance the quality of life for residents.

Requirements

• IDD Certification (preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred)
• Experience in IDD care or related field
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of disability rights and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
